Packing For Our Holiday

We are off to Tenerife on Saturday – whoop whoop! It’s our first holiday abroad with Sophie and she is still on bottles of milk so it has required a serious amount of organisation and planning to get her stuff ready! I’ve written before about how to make your life easier when travelling abroad with a baby so if you are off on your travels this summer then go ahead and check it out.

I’ve been chatting about what we are taking abroad for Sophie on the vlog this week and I thought I would share it with you on the blog too in case I have forgotten something really obvious. Do let me know!

I am recording our week in the sun on for my YouTube channel so look out for that in the next few weeks.

Lots of love and happy travels if you are off somewhere nice this summer

Ahh you’re way more organised than me! We go away on sunday for ten days, all six of us, and I haven’t packed a single thing!! Literally, nothing!! I am freaking out a bit and yet instead of getting it done I have spent the last couple of hours on the computer and munched my way through two Wispa bars. The shame!! You have motivated me though, I am on it!! Enjoy your holiday! #BrilliantBlogPost

Oh my goodness so organised! With three under 5, I literally just chaotically cram all the clean clothes in holdalls lol! Haven’t been on a plane with them yet though 🙂

Looks like you are being very organised! Love the little dresses and romper suits and Sophie is so cute posing in her hat. Sounds like a good plan to use bottled water and powder – I can imagine it makes it much more tricky trying to work out what to do with bottles on holiday. Hope you have a wonderful time in Tenerife! #triballove

I know she loves to pose haha. Bottle feeding abroad is totally doable but what a faff! It makes me miss breastfeeding! Thanks lovely x

This is such a cute video, but from past holiday experience those blicken rompers are a pain in the arse! We took our daughter on her first holiday at about 5 months and she was mainly in a nappy and vets. I love the watermelon romper suit….gorgeous, can’t wait to see her in it! also make sure you don’t get blocked in on the plane by the trolleys as we did and literally had the biggest code brown…and we stupidly put one hand luggage bag (with all baby changing things!!!) when they offered to help out!!! luckily we were traveling for a wedding so my friend had lots of little boys things she had the wear, i’ll never do that again. enjoy and good luck super organised mama x #ablogginggoodtime

Mr S (my other half) said he reckoned she would just be in her nappy 90% of the time and its probably true! Oh that plane situation sounds like a nightmare! Its so easy to get flustered and do something like that though when you are boarding isn’t it! x

wow! How organised. Packing for me is throwing some random outfits into my suitcase and hoping for the best. This year I trusted my 4 year old when she said she had packed her own stuff, so we ended up going shopping for socks when we got there! #fortheloveofBLOG

We’re off on our first holiday as a 3 in a few months and I’ve never been so thankful Piglet is breastfed so I don’t have to worry about the bottle side of things! Seems like you’ve got everything under control though! #fortheloveofblog

Our one holiday overseas with our little one we just threw as many outfits as possible into our own bags and hoped for the best. But like you said nappy and sun cream will be pretty popular attire!! Hope the flight goes well tonight! #ForTheLoveOfBlog

Good luck with your holiday – love all the cute summer outfits! We too the Popple on her first holiday abroad to New York in May and packing was a nightmare – luckily we were going to visit family so my parents had a high chair, cot and stroller waiting there for us, which made things much easier. We’re also going to Ireland in August – but after surviving an 8-hour flight, I feel like we can handle anything! #fortheloveofBLOG
