For The Love Of BLOG – #18

Hey guys,
Welcome to another week of blogging and multi-tasking on #fortheloveofBLOG. How are you? How was your week?
Zak went back to school along with most other kids on Monday so we are back to the bedlam of the school run. The early starts are a killer! Don’t get me wrong, I’m up early most days with Sophie but having to be washed, dressed and ready to face the world with two semi-clean, fed kids BEFORE 9am is something else. If you are feeling similar this week then I’m sending you all the virtual sympathy and coffee my friend.
Sophie has had a big week. She turned 8 months on the 5th and promptly cut her first tooth! She is coming on so quickly now that I can hardly keep up but I did manage to record a 7 month update vlog for my YouTube channel if you fancy a nosey.

Lots of exciting blogging type things have happened this week!
  • My Instagram account has popped over 3000! If you have missed my post on how I grow my account organically then you can read it here.
  • The My Darling Memory Instagram community has gone over 1000 images! Such a gorgeous space on the internet so thank you for your support.
  • A Mum Track Mind has been ranked at #53 in the TRIPS100 UK Travel Blogs chart! This was so unexpected but so exciting!!
  • I found out that I’m going to be a Huffington Post contributor. I love love love reading the articles on there so it’s such a thrill to be a part of them. I’m just in the process of setting up my profile before submitting my first post.

How has your blogging week been going?

On to Linky business now:

First of all a big thank you to everyone who linked up again last week and to some of our new bloggers! It’s always incredibly difficult to choose a favourite post but the one that stood out for me this week was by the lovely Sarah who blogs at TammyMum. She wrote a really thought provoking post about whether Summer babies should start school at just turned 4 – Summer baby – to school or not school? With the government constantly changing the rules about when children should start school, I’m sure this is a post that will resonate with lots of us.
Congrats and don’t forget to pick up your featured blogger badge!
