Charlotte Tilbury and I are good friends. Well, her products and I are anyway. I came across them via another blog late last year and when I popped into Selfridges in Manchester to give them a go, the girls were so lovely and made me up so beautifully that I was completely hooked from that point on.
You can read my review of the incredible skincare trio right here if you haven’t already but it’s safe to say I love it.
It’s been about three months since I started using the skincare trio and from my training in the beauty industry, I remember being taught that it takes about this amount of time to really test a product out and see the effects on your skin.
Safe to say, my skin has never been better. It has never been as glowing I don’t think and people have started to notice and comment. Particularly over on Instagram – I’ve had lots of lovely messages asking me just what I am doing with my skin / makeup at the moment. It sure as hell isn’t lots of sleep that’s for certain.
So what is it? Well my dears, the answer is this – Charlotte Tilbury’s magic cream. This dreamy face cream has transformed my skincare and given me the softest, most glowing base for my makeup. Considering I am surviving on about four hours sleep a night, that basically makes this a pot of parenting gold in my eyes.
So yep. Safe to say I am a complete convert.

Over the past few weeks I have also been trialling a few other of Charlotte’s products:
The Feline Flick Liquid Eye Pen – Panther and Charlotte Tilbury Film Star Bronze And Glow
Now anyone who knows me, knows that I am obsessed with liquid eyeliner. That feline flick is ma thing. Seriously. If I could only have one makeup product for the rest of my days, a liquid eyeliner would be it. And I am extremely fussy as a result. To be honest I usually will only buy one exact brand of eyeliner but I was intrigued to see what the fuss was about this one.
Luckily, the Charlotte Tilbury Feline Flick Liquid Eye Pen ticks all my fuss-pot boxes. It’s the kind of liner that I love with a really thin and pointed pen applicator, which makes application basically fool proof. It’s foam nib too which means you don’t get nasty stray hair poking the wrong way and causing havoc. The colour, although jet black, doesn’t come out too fast or too strong which means you can build up the colour and strength with precision – getting the exact look you are after. It’s as good of a liner as I’ve ever used and one that’s sure to stick around in my handbag for a long time to come.

Now then, shall we have a chat about the Charlotte Tilbury Film Star Bronze and Glow palette? First of all can we just take a second to appreciate how beautiful her packaging always is. It’s perfect. Literally perfect.

Not that that makes a difference if the product is rubbish but thankfully it’s not. I love the simplicity of the sculpt and highlight products side by side and the large mirror – perfect for taking out and about for touch ups on the go. If I’m honest, the look is a lot more subtle than I was expecting and you do have to layer the sculpt up to achieve a really contoured effect. Similarly the highlight isn’t as pigmented as I was expecting but for daily wear the subtlety is perfect and really adds something extra to a glowing, beautiful makeup base and it’s a product I would recommend to a lot of tired mum friends of mine looking to fake the eight hour sleep look.
Also – a perfect one for mothers day if you’re organised enough to be thinking about that already!
What are your favourite Charlotte Tilbury products? Or maybe there’s one specific one you’d like to try?
