Meal Planning & Budgeting

Hi guys. It’s week two of my meal planning series and last week I managed to stick to my meal plan almost every day which is unheard of round here!

I’m starting to combine my YouTube channel and my blog more and more these days and this week I have filmed my grocery haul and meal plan for you to watch. I’ve been watching Mummy vloggers for a lot longer than I’ve been reading blogs (so quite a while!) and I initially thought it was really bizarre that people filmed their weekly shopping. However, I soon became hooked on these vlogs out of hope for inspiration in my own meal planning and sheer nosiness!

Last week I ordered my shopping online for convenience through Ocado. I love their large selection of organic ingredients and for me, their online delivery service is by far the best and most reliable. However, its freaking expensive and it’s a luxury I just cannot afford right now. With this in mind, I set off the for the inconvenience and low prices of Aldi and my God what a difference it made! Watch my quick grocery haul below to see how much I saved!

It was quite a saving. I found that shopping straight after the school run was the best time to go to Aldi  as it was pretty quiet in there. Aldi also offer trollies with inbuilt baby seats so that made my life a lot easier! Sophie actually enjoyed it so much that she fell asleep half way round.

Here is my meal plan for the week.

I loved your grocery haul – I’m a massive fan of Aldi as it’s just so much cheaper than any other supermarket. I really wish they did a delivery service and had a bigger car park in Brighton 😉 – then it would be just perfect! xx
