And here we are, the end of another week. Honestly, I have no clue where time is going to but I’m determined to stop and smell the roses once in a while. I’ve recently discovered this gorgeous link up between bloggers / photographers (clearly I fall into the first camp) where people share their favourite image from the week and so this week I’m sharing mine.
There’s no huge story behind this capture, it’s simply me snapping away in our local park. I was walking with my mum, I was child-free, the sun was warm on our faces, we had drank coffee, we chatted about anything and everything and it was just a totally perfect few hours. How often can we really say that? It wasn’t a huge moment, just a really lovely one and one I really want to remember.
This year, following on from a diagnosis of bipolar disorder, I promised myself that I would live in the moment as much as possible. That I would stop and take stock of how I was feeling in the then and now, not at some distant anxiety-indcuing point in the future. This was one of those good moments. A great one actually.
I hope you’ve had a few good ones of your own this week too.
