Taking the hassle out of airport parking

Airport parking these days seems to have more options than a Subway sandwich counter don’t you think? Whether parking in the official airport parking, choosing a car park nearby or opting for one of those fields miles away with the use of a shuttle bus, this is the start (and end) of your precious family holiday and it needs to be as hassle free as possible. I am a big fan of meet and greet parking as a result. This, in my opinion is just definitely the best way to start and finish a holiday as it takes all the stress away.

We have recently returned from a cruise of the Mediterranean and were invited to try out the meet and greet parking at Manchester Terminal 2, courtesy of www.looking4parking.com

The booking process was simple and easy. There was a quick form to fill out with our names, the details of our car and the flights that we would be taking. A confirmation email was then sent to us with the exact details and directions of where and when to meet. We were asked to ring a mobile number approximately 15 minutes before arriving at the airport and when we did so the man on the other end instructed us to drive right up to the entrance to Terminal 2, where he would be waiting for us. Easy peasy.

As promised there was a chauffeur there to collect our car. Friendly, efficient and professional – he checked the car over for any scratches or dents and then found us a trolley for the 101 bags I seemed to have packed for our cruise. Packing light just isn’t really my thing!

All that was left to do was hand over the keys and wish us bon voyage as we walked literally the 100yards to the departures entrance. It could not have been any easier!

On return, we rang that same number as we cleared customs and were asked to head back up to the departures entrance where our car would be waiting. It wasn’t waiting but it did turn up, unscathed, about five minutes later, which was absolutely fine. On collection of our car we had to present our ID (presumably so we didn’t steal someone else’s car!), do one last check to make sure it was a-ok (it was) and then drive home with a case of the holiday blues.

This is obviously not the longest review in the world but that is because it was all so quick and simple. It’s a testament to the service provided that I would and will use it again and will definitely recommend it to anyone travelling from a UK airport as they operate countrywide.

If you are on the hunt for airport parking then I highly recommend the Looking4Parking service.

In return for an open and honest review, we were given free airport parking

Hi Fiona, it’s great to hear a recent positive review of a car park service. There have been some nightmares around London, so we’ve been using the option to take public transport the last couple of times.

This is a very great oiece of content consisting of a lot of information. Airport parking is the much-needed factor at the busiest airports and sorting this thing out is very amazing.
