December 29th 2018.
That was the last time that I wrote anything for this blog. I’d say “sorry” but I’m not sure that the internet needs another blogger who thinks anyone cares.
And yet, here I am writing again.
It’s funny to think that when I wrote that post, I was on the cusp of a brand new life that I knew nothing about and now, eight months on, I find myself in a new house, in a new town, single parenting two kids and with a brand new relationship. In fact, a brand new life.
Getting into the ins and outs of why and what happened isn’t what I’m here for. It’s private at the end of the day. Suffice to say we (me and the kids, not you and I) have all been through something akin to an emotional earthquake.
But enough of the self-pity because we are all ok and actually life is pretty good again. Hence the return to the blog in all it’s shiny new-ness.
I think I might really want to pick this back up again. To document the ordinary and the extraordinary in life is a rare and rather self-absorbed act, one which I am feeling inclined to try once again.
So, here I am – back to the blog and with a new blogging name – That vegan life. I wanted something that would be much more lifestyle in flavour and this suits for now. I’ll share our lives, the places we eat at (we eat out far too much), the fun we have, the bucket list travel spots ticked off the list, the ups and downs of working and parenting full time and all the rest of it.
One big mish mash of my life.
Catch up soon, yeah?
