Dreambaby® Review & Competition

Dreambaby® Review

With a hint of spring in the air and the prospect of (hopefully!) warmer weather on the horizon, I have been turning my thoughts this week to our annual summer holiday. To be honest, I’m a bit behind the curve here as I usually have it all booked and sorted by now but with the arrival of baby Sophie in January, pretty much everything has taken a back burner to breastfeeding and sleepless nights.

There are so many options for families in need of a break these days that it’s hard to narrow it down but having spent one too many wet weeks cooped up in a caravan in Cornwall, we do have one mandatory requirement – hot weather. Don’t get me wrong, I love the UK and if you do get hot weather then you absolutely cannot beat a holiday here but let’s face it, it’s not often that really happens is it? So, it’s safe to say we will be boarding a plane and flying off in search of sunnier climes this summer.

Much as I’m looking forward to getting some sun on my bones, I do have some concerns over taking a young baby (Sophie will only be 7/8 months old) to a hotter climate. I am absolutely paranoid / obsessive about my children being protected from sun burn and smothering them in factor 50 every hour (much to Zak’s disgust!) and with Sophie’s lily white complexion and young age I have been on the lookout for really decent products to help protect her from the sun’s harmful rays. Luckily, I have recently come across some products from a company called Dreambaby® that will be just perfect to take away on holiday with us.

I had already heard about Dreambaby® – they specialise in child safety products for use in and around the home but I wasn’t aware about their line in sun-safety until recently so I thought I would share a few of their products that I will be taking away with me this summer to keep baby Sophie safe:

  • Dreambaby® Review New StrollerBuddy Large Extenda-Shade

I am almost certainly going to be taking a lightweight stroller abroad with us, I can’t imagine carting a big heavy pushchair around, on and off flights etc. However, whilst, I am a big fan of a lightweight stroller, often the canopy just isn’t big enough to provide the full shade that a baby needs. Dreambaby® Extenda-Shade is brilliant, it attaches easily to the stroller canopy, providing extra sun protection with a UPF 50+. It comes in a choice of black or animal print depending on your taste (we went for black) and folds away for easy storage in a clear, reusable plastic storage bag, which is pretty useful. The Extenda-Shade is, I think, reasonably priced starting at £19.99.

  • Dreambaby® Review Strollerbuddy® Stroller Clips

clipsI love the pop of colour with these clips and whilst their main purpose will be to clip a lightweight cover over the stroller for those middle of the day naps (although napping in the middle of the day may just be wishful thinking on my part!), I think they will be useful for loads of other things as well. I will definitely be using them to keep my breastfeeding cover in place whilst feeding Sophie, making sure that toys/hats/children (ok, no not children) stay attached to the stroller when we aren’t using them and on cooler nights they will keep a blanket from trailing in the dirt. At only £9.99 for a pack of four and with a variety of colours to choose from, I think they’re excellent value for money.

Dreambaby® Review Stroller Hooks

No this isn’t a climbing carabina, although you could be forgiven for thinking so. They are in fact stroller hooks to enable you to attach a variety of essentials to your stroller / pram whilst you are out and about. Lightweight, versatile and oh so practical – they have absolutely nothing to do with sun safety but I had to show you because wouldn’t they be fab for holding on to your camera bag on holiday?! Other uses involve holding on to handbags,  small children  and shopping bags. You can buy them from the Dreambaby® Website  at £6.99 for a pack of two.

I have been sent these products to review but I am genuinely impressed with the quality and thought process that has gone into making them. Practical and stylish is always a winner for me. If you want to know more about Dreambaby®  then you can visit their website ‘like’ them on Facebook page, visit their Instagram page or watch them on their YouTube channel for more information.

Very kindly, Dreambaby® have provided me with one each of the above products for my readers to win! Enter the giveaway below, follow A Mum Track Mind on Twitter and tweet about the competition! Entries close Sunday 17th April – good luck!

We’ve got the shade and I love the fact that it can be fitted on different pushchairs and even the car seat. It’s an easy way to keep them in the shade without using one of those coverall ones.

I love these products, especially the shade, I haven’t seen anything like that before. I’m super paranoid about my baby getting burnt. We even bought the Nuna infant car seat as it has a “dream drape” that blocks the sun and allows ventilation, we love it so far.

I love Dreambaby. They have a great selection and the prices are reasonable. We have their anti slip bath mat and it’s great

The products look brilliant. I am always paranoid about keeping the kids covered in the sun and the sunshade on our stroller is not that impressive so the Dreambaby extenda-shade looks like a great solution for us.

Oh my that stroller looks amazing! I’ll definitely have to check this out when the little one is older and I want a more lightweight load (currently the pram is very heavy!). I hope you have fun on your holiday!! Thanks for sharing with #StayClassy.

Thanks – it’s just the sun shade on top that I was reviewing but a light stroller is always a good idea x
