Fi’s February Favourites

I’d just like to start by saying that this is not a sponsored post. These are things that I have genuinely been loving in February.

Now that’s out of the way lets start with baby things because they are always the best. A few of the things I have been loving for Sophie during February are…

The Marks and Spencer baby clothes collection.

Neither the cheapest nor the dearest of the high street baby clothes (3 babygro’s for £15) but great quality material that washes brilliantly and looks super cute. My favourite item is the pink knitted jacket – keeps Sophie warm but it’s not too bulky to wear in her car seat and it comes in at a pretty reasonable £12.

Child’s Farm baby bath

In the first few weeks we used nothing but warm water for Sophie’s bath but after one too many poonami’s and that baby puke getting all over everywhere, I really felt that she needed something stronger. Child’s Farm was recommended to me by a friend. It’s organic and designed for sensitive skin, suitable from birth. It is really gentle on her delicate skin and it smells gorgeous too. I am giving this a big thumbs up!

The Idaho Pacapod changing bag.

This is a fantastic changing bag for organised mums. It has different ‘pods’ for changing and feeding so you can keep everything separate, as well as lots of handy pockets for your phone/purse etc and a chain to clip your keys on to. You can buy extra pods that will help this bag to evolve with your baby but for now I just need the changing and the feeding pod (see pictures). Pacapod do loads of different styles of bags ranging anywhere from around £50 to nearly £300 (!!). The Idaho version costs around £60 and looks more like a handbag than a baby changing bag and is large enough to carry around all the mummy crap I seem to accumulate. I would definitely recommend this.

A pom-pom hat

Because, well, who doesn’t love a pom-pom?! Sophie’s gorgeous knitted hat is from a local baby boutique. Sadly the lady running the boutique hasn’t moved into internet sales yet but if she does I will be sure to let you know!

There hasn’t been any much chance for shopping or time to myself since Sophie came along 8 weeks ago but there is one product that I have been absolutely loving for myself…

Clarins HydraQuench Intensive Serum Bi-Phase.

This has worked wonders on my permanently dried out, stressed skin. I wear it under my moisturiser and it keeps those dry flaky patches at bay all year round. I have literally tried everything to keep my face from falling off during the winter and nothing else works. Major love for this little miracle bottle.

And last but not least I have been LOVING houmous again this month. Random I know.

I am the only person in my family who will eat the stuff so I need a relatively small tub otherwise I just end up chucking half of it in the bin. Clive’s Classic Organic Houmous is my new favourite and the perfect size.

We have that very same jumper here for Wee Bun – the clothes range really is lovely! Have to try and restrain myself when I go in though!

Ooh, I love the little jacket. That looks a lot more expensive than £12. I’m tempted by the parapodia too but think I’d need a bigger one for two of them,
