For The Love Of BLOG – #30

Hello and welcome back to week 30 of the Linky that I run with Claire from The Pramshed. This week we are so pleased to welcome Sammie who blogs at Porridge and Parenting, to guest host with us.

I hope you have all had a lovely week and have an even lovelier weekend planned?

It’s been another long working week here but a productive one I hope! I’ve been interviewed twice this week, which was both flattering and daunting all at the same time. It’s my one year blogiversary coming up and sometimes I have to pinch myself that anyone is even reading it, let alone wanting to talk to me about it!

We had Sophie’s first birthday party last weekend. It was low key, just family and friends and just how we want birthday’s to be. She had a great time and loved all the fuss!

This weekend we are just staying in and around the home. I work Saturday morning’s so I shall be here at my laptop and then hopefully we can get out into the fresh air.

Whatever you’re up to, I hope you have a lovely one!

I found it really hard to choose a favourite post this week as they were all really amazing – you guys have seriously upped your blogging game!!

In the end though I went with Helen from Just Saying Mum’s post – Owning Motherhood. Helen’s oh so stylish blog is always a joy to spend time on but this was especially beautifully written and from the heart. I think with my son morphing into a teenager before my eyes, it was something that really resonated with me too. I’d love for you to check this amazing post and blog out because I know you will love it as much as I do.

I know a few of you said that the Linky badge was reverting back to the old one. I haven’t managed to work out why yet but don’t worry if it happens because it will still link back to the Linky either way.

I am delighted I stumbled across your blog posts, the business based hints & tips are a godsend. I can’t profess to understand it all, I’m new to blogging, self employment, marketing and ra ra ra. Previous career was ms dos based (I kid you not) and of course, there’s a story there. Anyway, again, glad I found you & I’ll be sticking around in my somewhat haphazard style xxx
