Introducing my BML16 Sponsor – Holiday-Sitters

I’m pretty excited about this post introducing my sponsor for the BritMums Live 2016 conference. First up, for those non-bloggers or maybe if you are brand new to blogging let me explain what I am talking about…

BritMums Live aka BML16,  is the UK’s leading blogging and social media conference, held annually in central London. I’m so excited to tell you that I will be going this year! BritMums Live will be my first blogging conference and has an agenda packed full with:

  • inspirational keynote speakers,
  • workshops to improve pretty much everything and anything to do with blogging and
  • a chance to meet all the amazing bloggers who I have been following for the past few years.

Needless to say, I am really looking forward to being a part of it!

Now to introduce the incredible brand who are my sponsor for BML16 and enabling me to go to this fantastic conference – Holiday-Sitters.

Holiday-Sitters My BML16 Sponsor

Holida-Sitters Sponsor

Holiday-Sitters is a babysitter service for families with  kids on holiday in European cities. This fresh new company was founded by Ela and Galit, two Mothers who know what it is like to take kids overseas.  We all know that staying cooped up in a hotel room in the evening, “shushing” our partners and drinking wine in silence in the bathroom can be the reality of hotel stays with our mini-people. Holiday-Sitters have come up with the perfect solution so you too can enjoy a little break whilst on holiday;  whether that’s a quiet dinner, a walk on the beach or even just a night for yourselves.

Through Holiday-Sitters unique and simple website, parents can book a babysitter as part of their holiday planning. You can look for babysitters according to their availability, time and most importantly their language. You can also view sitter profiles, including video interviews to see what they have to say about themselves. Reassuringly, you can then communicate directly with the sitter online in order to get know one another. Trust and confidence is of paramount importance to Holiday-Sitters and each babysitter is thoroughly vetted and checked to give you peace of mind. More info about this process in my next post about the brand.

As both a Mother and a travel blogger, Holiday-Sitters feels like a natural fit as a sponsor for BML16. I am really pleased to be working with them and excited to see where they take their brand in the future. I am sure it will be a big success! If you want to know more about my sponsor then take a look at their website Holiday-Sitters.
You can also find them on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram .

Wow, that sounds like a great idea to have holiday babysitters. We’ve recently come back from a cruise with a great kids club open until 2am for exactly that reason!
I wish I could go to BML2016 just to see what it is like, but alas I will be working. Hope you have fun! #KCACOLS

Very excited for you going to BML2016. Have fun. What a fabulous and unique idea Holiday Sitters have. That’s sure to be successful. Why weren’t these things around when my daughter was younger. She’d never have it now! I remember the shushing days and everyone in bed at 8pm. Thanks for sharing with #KCACOLS and hope you can come back again on Sunday. Nicky

What a brilliant company! We rely on babysitters when we’re away and it’s often a struggle to find one. Perfect for weddings too. Have a great time at BML… I’ve promised myself I’ll go next year! #BloggerClubUK

A great idea! I spent so many weekends away with babies in hotels, stuck in the room with them in the evening, or using a dodgy intercom system and worrying about them the whole time. I would have certainly considered this. Well done for getting a sponsor and have fun 🙂 Alison x #fortheloveofBLOG

  16. June 18, 2016 / 08:23

Have a fantastic time at BML so exciting! Such a great idea holiday babysitters. Exactly What every mum and dad needs. Congrats on getting such a cool sponsor #fortheloveofBLOG

  17. June 18, 2016 / 08:24

This sounds like an absolutely brilliant idea. We haven’t been abroad yet but we have been on hols in this country and, as you say, I could hear Mother and Father slurping their wine noisily and it was most annoying as they were distracting me from writing my blog. I would have preferred them to clear off out and leave me in peace. I should think this is a lifeline to parents everywhere – and babies who would prefer some erudite and different company for a change (in my case). Also, I hope you have a truly fab time at BML xx #fortheloveofBLOG

Oh I did giggle at parents drinking wine in the bathroom! Our last holiday abroad did not feel like a holiday at all with our toddler and a pregnant me still in the sicky stages and I had wished we could have had a break! Now with two I imagine it will be even harder. A fab idea!! #fortheloveofBLOG

  21. June 18, 2016 / 10:16

wow! what a great idea! and congrats on having them as your sponsor. When the girls were little I more or less booked hotels on our holidays that offered a babysitting service so the husband and I could have a quiet drink in the evenings alone, so something like this would have really appealed to me back then. #fortheloveofblog

Holiday-sitters sounds like an absolutely fabulous service, I love how it is not limited to the UK either and provides parents with the opportunity to meet their sitter online, this is so very important to build trust. I am such a newbie to blogging in so many ways, I had heard of the BML16 event but I had no idea you could get sponsors. I still feel so young (not in age unfortunately, in blogging terms) and not confident enough to go to anything like this yet. I have promised a few blogging friends that I will go next year, I am thinking it would be fun. Hope you have a great time xxx #fortheloveofBLOG

This sounds amazing!! Like you said you end up hiding in the bathroom or going to bed at 5.30 staring longingly out the window at the bar next door where childless couples are dining and are not in their pyjamas! I am reassured by the video introductions and that you can talk to them before and as I would be anxious about leaving my son with a relative stranger, great that you can pick the language too! Have a fab time!!! #fortheloveofblog
