Remember those days when you would go on your annual holiday, buy loads of cheap postcards for people back home and spend half of your holiday looking for somewhere to post them, only to find that you got home long before they did? Me too. It was all a bit de rigeur that you would send a postcard but it was also, lets be honest, a great big faff!
I have to admit, for the past ten years or so I haven’t really bothered to send postcards home but despite the faff, there is something really lovely about that little card of sunshine dropping through your door, don’t you think? I don’t know if it is the fact that someone has taken the time to think about you or if it’s the reminder of sunnier and happier times but it still feels like a really nice gesture. That’s why I decided that we would be sending some postcards home on our recent holiday.
Which is why, I was really pleased when Touchnote offered me the opportunity to review their mobile app.
Using the Touchnote App
- Download the Touchnote app from the whichever store you use be it Apple or Android
- Spend a minute setting up an account
- Purchase credits within the app safely, easily and securely
- Get snapping away on your phone
- Choose a photo
- Add your message and an address
- Done! Touchnote will process and post it faster than you can say “let’s have another cocktail”
Sounds easy enough? So how did I get on?
Being the Mamarazzi that I am, I snapped literally hundreds of pictures whilst on our latest holiday to Tenerife but I eventually chose the three below to go home as postcards to Sophie’s Grandparents and cousins.
I’ve received postcards from Touchnote before so I knew that they would be on good quality, glossy card with a bright and clear design / text on the back. What I hadn’t bargained on was how easy it was to use the app or how quickly the cards would arrive at their destination!
I literally created my postcards and sent them off for processing in one minute.
No fuss, no bother and for a technophobe like me this was such a relief! The postcards then arrived at their destination within 1-2 working days. I was able to get on with my holiday and Sophie’s grandparents received a lovely little surprise in the post. Easy peasy.
If you are off on your travels soon then I would recommend you head on over to your app store and get this little beauty as part of your preparation. It’s worth noting that you can also turn 20 of your best holiday snaps into a gorgeous print box. It works in exactly the same way so it is super easy to set up and is such a lovely thing to arrive home to.
Wherever you are off to this Summer I wish you very happy travels!
Bon voyage

Touchnote is such a good idea! I’m defo using it for our future holidays. The only person I still send a postcard to is my Nan and most of the time I post it when I’m back in the UK. #KCACOLS
